  3. What is a Windows 8 PC? By Brooke Crothers
Qualcomm: the exclusive supplier of processor silicon for all Window Phone 7 devices; said it will build quad-core Snapdragon processors (ARM processors) for Windows 8 devices. Qualcomm acknowledged in its Windows 8 statement that “ This will require high-performing, low-power processors with features like 3G and 4G wireless wide area network(WWAN)connectivity” on last Wednesday. Furthermore, Jacobs refers to the products “You will see some clamshell looking devices. Some of them will be convertible. Some of them will be just tablets. We’re going to see a wide range of stuff going on.” Besides Qualcomm, Intel’s next-generation Haswell chip design will be usable at the same time with Qualcomm’s Windows 8. Brooke Crothers remarks that by those developments of technology, PC will look very different for a lot of people and young generation in the future may miss out the traditional PC but live along using a device that bears little resemblance to today’s laptop.

    By Chris Matyszczyk

The reason is that little electronic devices can truly mess with the aircraft’s system.ABC News managed to get hold of a report by the International Air Transport Association that makes for very interesting reading. For it seems to link up to 75 incidents on planes with interference from cell phones or other electronic devices. Rational minds will, no doubt, judge the evidence through their own filters. However, in 75 of these reported incidents between 2003 and 2009, 26 involved interference with the flight controls.
